Target 3/28 Saved 50%

Not my best trip to date but I'm still pleased with what I got. The Raisenetts were a impulse buy while I was waiting for a presciption but I did have a .50/1 coupon!
*EDIT: Just realized one of my coupons for the Vasoline Men's Lotion didn't get included and I still have it so that made my total $1.29 more than it would have been! Hate that!*

Total OOP after tax: $9.88

CVS 3/28 $2.54 OOP, SAVED $24.69!!!

I still have $6.99 of ECB from my old card but they don't expire till 4/20. She said it should not be a problem using them, just let them know what happened.

Target Week 3/6

I messed up at Target this week. I forgot to use my $5 gift card from last week AND one of my coupons didn't go through at the register and the lady threw it in the drawer even though I didn't get the credit (it prompted her to enter the amount. It was a Target Q for $/1 Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste.)

Total OOP: $7.70
Savings $9.00

We are officially stocked up on toothpaste and toothbrushes where I won't be buying them unless they are free or under $1 !

WalMart 3/6 No overage?

Thought I would try out Wal-Mart and try to get a little overage, but it didn't show on my recipt. It would have only been like .6 so I didn't say anything, not sure how this is going to work in the future. I'm trying to limit myself to 2 stores since gas prices are up. I did score some pretty good deals though.

Total OOP: $10.41
Saved $13.45 (not sure if this is right, it didn't show on my receipt and I had to try and add it up, but seems like I would have saved more. )

Either way I'm happy because the sunscreen and sinex were both over $5 themselves!

CVS 3/6 Cereal Stock Up

Since I don't live in a state where coupons are doubled, it's hard to get a great deal on cereal when I've noticed it's usually only reduced to $2.50 so I decided to stock up at CVS this week where it's on sale for $1.99. We eat atleast 2 boxes of cereal a week. It was also on sale at the commissary for $1.99 (which is farther from my house but happened to be there last week and bought 4 boxes with 2- $1/2 and got a free gallon of milk!!)
I'm stocked up enough to last for me to see how the sale cycles work for a few weeks.

-I'm saving my ECB for next week-

CVS Week 2/27

I use Simply CVS for most of my information gathered for these savings!! Thank you Simply CVS!

Spent a little more than planned this week, but recieved a ton of Extra Care Bucks for next week. I also have a 20% off e-mail coupon that was sent because I followed CVS on Twitter. It didn't come in time to use today, so I will use later this week. I had 3 high ticket items (the razor and razor refills, but we needed them, and there was a $5 P&G coupon in this weekends paper. There was also a BOGO Swiffer refill coupon, and they are on sale this week at CVS for $3.99, much cheaper than Target!
